Enjoy our stay and visit Paris.
Those of you who book the cruise will be able to admire Paris’s most beautiful monuments from the Seine. What’s more, this year Venite Cantemus takes place during a festive weekend in Paris: the Fête de la Musique, so you can make the most of it. Immerse yourself in the joyful and friendly atmosphere of the street concerts and entertainment, or discover the programmes offered for the occasion by museums and performance venues. You can view them here.
As always, guided tours are available, led by volunteer guides who are passionate about Paris and its museums. All proceeds will, of course, go towards research into mental health.
Housed in a palace-like railway station, opened for the 1900 World’s Fair, the Musée d’Orsay is best known for its rich collection of Impressionist art; it is also the museum of all artistic creation in the Western world from 1848 to 1914. Today, the Musée d’Orsay offers a unique overview of masterpieces across all disciplines, attracting visitors from all over the world.
Focusing on a selection of masterpieces, this tour provides an overview of the major artistic movements and the new displays, highlighting the diversity of the works on show (paintings, sculptures, furniture, objets d’art, etc.).
This tour is made possible by the Friends of the Musée d’Orsay.

The good news is that the Théâtre des Champs-Elysées is right in the centre of Paris and there is no shortage of hotels.
The other good news is that for tighter budgets there are youth hostels (also in the centre) such as
Adveniat (Champs-Elysées), Mije (Marais) and others.
And the third good news is that you can opt to stay for free at a Parisian’s home. This is both economical and an opportunity to meet other singers or those who work behind the scenes.
Parisians are VERY welcoming 😍.
